Active for Life Solutions is our stand-alone not-for-profit organisation. We aim to tackle and overcome the barriers to exercise people with long-term health conditions face.
All of our rehabilitation pathways are evidence based and delivered by our team of Level 4 Exercise Specialists. To join one of our exercise pathways, sign off from a healthcare professional is required. EXERCISE REHABILITATION PATHWAY
Supporting people living with and beyond cancer, including pre and post treatment.
Using exercise to promote strength, power, and mobility post stroke.
Public Health commissioned programme supporting strength and balance in people at risk of falling. x6 free sessions
Supporting people with muscle and joint problems including lower back pain, arthritis, and joint replacement. x12 free sessions
Lottery funded free 12-week exercise programme, designed for people low in mood or managing a mental illness.
Focusing on respiratory fitness and breathing capacity, classes will support lung efficiency and strength.

Our standard rehabilitation offer includes your first three sessions free. All sessions include one hour of exercise, followed by an optional 30-minute social time including a free refreshment. Follow on sessions are £6.

Strength & Balance Sessions
VIRTUAL ONLINE
Every Wednesday 11am - 12.30pm
Here we bring you, your exercise to the comfort of your own home. This programme is designed for people who have suffered a fall or at risk of falling and showing signs of frailty.
To access this programme you will need:
- A Health Care professional referral
- Have the technology to stream the LIVE weekly class (the exercise is streamed through ZOOM, an online platform that requires a valid email address)
- A stable chair and a safe space to exercise (the living room is generally a good space)
- A resistance band if you have one (this can be provided if you do not own one)
